All three will be available on The Dodo’s family entertainment destination Family Room, as well as on The Dodo, Dodo Kids and Sesame Street YouTube channels. The first episode dropped yesterday, with new ones scheduled to launch on September 30 and October 14. Sponsored by Target, this project marks Sesame Workshop’s first pet-focused content partnership. It was inspired by recent special Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy (accompanying toy pictured), and will see Elmo, his puppy Tango and Cookie Monster working at an animal shelter in New York to help pets find their forever homes. Families for Furry Friends pairs Sesame Street Muppets with the heartwarming animal stories The Dodo is famous for. Sesame Workshop has partnered with family-friendly social media brand The Dodo to launch a new scripted digital series for preschoolers.
